Alnitak's study area. In this section we describe briefly which is the study area fro Alnitak's work inthe Alboran Sea.

Physical characteristics. Information on some physicalparameters describing the area, such as hydrology, topography, meteorology and the physico-chemical characteristics of the water.

Biological characteristics. Information on some biological parameters of the area such as plancton, andthe marine flora and fauna.

Sea turtles. Information on the sea turtles of the Alboran Sea.

Cetaceans. Information on the cetaceans of the Alboran Sea.

Human activities. Information on the human activities in the Alboran Sea.
